Avon 3.41 Rib

Avon 3.41 ocean view RIB.Mariner 20hp 2stroke short shaft outboard. Electric start, electric choke. Quicksilver 25L fuel tank. Bilge pump (intermittent fault)Ignition key snapped but still works as should. Tube has no leaks and holds air well.

Hull in good condition, has had repair by previous owner. Newly fabricated trailer with new jockey wheel, new tow hitch, rope winch, lashing loops and new wheel bearingsRib cover. Inflatable front seat. Anchor, a large and a small fender, small fuel can, oil, various ropes, ores and tube pump. I have owned this rib since spring 2018, but due to relocating away from the coast, we will no longer have the time to use it.

The rib had approx 20hrs use last summer and is such great fun, rides three adults comfortably. This summer it has come out of hibernation and has been run up in a bucket, for some reason it won’t idle, probably better for someone mechanically minded or with marine knowledge.Possibly something simple but I don’t have time to spend with it. Have a video from last summer out on the sea and also a video of it being run up in a bucket recently. Unfortunately I don’t have the facility to do a water test where it is stored now. All images are recent, so everything is as you see it.
