An outstanding Hypalon Avon Adventure 400 family rib/yacht tender in excellent condition virtually unmarked as it’s been meticulously cared for and always kept under cover which shows as there is no fading on the tubes which have no patches or repairs, the hull is immaculate, polished with no antifoul and the interior is in very smart condition with unmarked deck. It comes with a brand new 500KG roller trailer built in September 2023 with 24 months warranty from collection. The 2008 50hp Fuel injected outboard is a power tilt electric start four stroke with recent oil change plugs and water impeller. Included with the package is a brand new all over quality cover, lighting board and ratchet tie down straps. The boat is ready to go and can be collected or we can deliver to suit you.

There are no patches on this rib, but if you did have to get it repaired rib repair companies will guarantee the work with Hypalon as it is better to repair than PVC . This is an expensive option normally a few thousand on this size rib. The hull has not been antifouled just polished and is in as new condition.
It is fantastically strong with a thick grp double skin and four chamber half meter diameter tubes making this boat a very capable boat for almost any conditions. This is probably the most ideal size of RIB for sport and family fun as it is easily manageable single handed, cheap to run, a fantastic sea boat that gives you a really safe feeling with young family. We have sold several similar ribs to yacht owners, the brand, Hypalon tubes, davit lifting points and 3 point tow bridle setup make them very popular as either Davit slung or deck stowed tenders. The brand names Avon and Zodiac are the most well known brands in the world. Zodiac developed inflatable boats and it was Avon under license from Zodiac that fitted a solid hull to Zodiac tubes creating the first Rib at Atlantic college in Wales in 1964.
The B class ‘Atlantic’ life boats and the first rib for the public, the Avon Searider in 1969 was produced, Avon and Zodiac are now a generic term in most parts, together they have been going strong for over 100 years.Avon adventure ribs are still one of the most highly regarded ribs available, these boats were designed to be tougher than the rest and withstand Avon’s rigorous safety tests and to have a higher level of quality than the majority of the market. The hull section is fantastically strong with no weak points around the transom typical of some ribs due to large longitudinal supports, a thick grp double skin and four chamber half meter diameter tubes made of thick Hypalon fabric make this boat a very capable boat for almost any conditions. Avon Hypalon material is a better grade than many other Hypalon materials used on ribs today. With a maximum of 7 passengers the Avon has a payload rating of 700KGThis rib is fitted with a practical steering console with storage under and comfortable bench seating with additional large bow seat which offers a good amount of storage with bow cushion which is comfortable for an adult or two children. The 25 litre fuel tank is under the bench seat, there is also a battery isolator fitted.
RIB The hull is virtually unmarked, the same as with the interior and outboard. No repairs and the tubes stay rock hard. The interior is smart, with cushions tubes and deck all in excellent condition. The boat is Category C rated:Category C definition - Inshore: Designed for voyages in coastal waters, large bays, estuaries, lakes and rivers where conditions up to, and including, wind force 6 and significant wave heights up to, and including, 2m may be experienced The four stroke 50hp efi outboard is the ideal size for this rib and perfect for watersports including mono skiing, It is one of the lightest four strokes in its class and has the advantage of not costing a small fortune each time you take it out. It’s recently had the fuel system flushed and replenished, battery condition check, engine and gear oil change.The outboard is a real gem and starts first flick of the key and runs so smoothly, it has plenty of power for this rib and throws the rib up onto the plane effortlessly.
It is in superb mechanical and cosmetic order, it accelerates very impressively and smoothly and feels so stable at speed. TrailerThe trailer is a Brand new 500KG Extreme roller trailer built in September 2023 and comes with a 24 month warranty from collection.The roller trailer is very well engineered and makes launching and recovering single handedly very easy. It comes with a brand new trailer board and the rib will be strapped down ready to go, you will just need a number plate. The proportions and layout of this rib are just right, it’s an ideal boat for any family and for all watersports. The size and seating layout make it practical with plenty of room to move around and for stowage for the day.
