Avon 5.45m Rib 90 Hp

We've had this rib for around 10 years and only ever used her in fresh water for rescue cover at sailing regattas and Family skiing/wakeboarding. She comes with a Snipe braked trailer which has 3 new tyres and has been regularly serviced, she's been towed to Lac Laman (Lake Geneva) in France and back every year for ten years with no trouble. The boat has been well maintained and serviced every year. The 90 HP Yamaha is a two stroke auto lube, so no worries about getting the mix right. Last winter I serviced the tilt hydraulics renewing the lower bushes to the power trim ram, and apart from the usual service I also replaced the impeller.

She has a brand new battery. The helm unit and bezel was replaced two years ago.She has a chart plotter and a fish finder, they work but have never really been used. All the nav lights work. The "A" frame on the back was custom made by Mr Stainless near Ipswich, the extra height of the frame has been great for wake boarding, it does have two towing eyes for skiing but we tended to use the A frame for skiing as well. She can pull out a competent 14 stone on one ski or a learner on two skis.

Included are the skis shown, kids and adult learning skis and of course a tow rope. Two life jackets, (not buoyancy aids) one needs a new gas canister. She has an anchor and various mooring lines. All in all she's a great boat and ready to go, we've had years of fun in her, a very forgiving and easy to drive RIB. Although she's not been on the water for over a year, I have engine muffs so she can be seen running.
