Avon Adventure SR4.0 Rigid Inflatable Boat - Yamaha 30 Hp Engine Great Condition

For Sale - Our Rib safety boat.The boat is a 2001 model, tubes and hull are good and do not leak. Very clean and in very good condition It is an Avon 4 metre rigid inflatable with centre console and very good clean hull tubes in orange, it has a flooding hull which makes it very stable at rest or low speeds due to the filling of the rigid hull, this then empties as the boat accelerates allowing the boat to plane at high speed. Steering gear was replaced in 2015. It has an elephants trunk type self baler in the transom. The boat has a forward facing spot lamp switched from the console and powered from a fitted 12v battery.

It also has a kill cord fitted to the console and lines are fitted to the boat. There is some damage at the base of the transom, under the hull drain (shows in pic 4) this appears to be where the boat rolled off the trailer and extends underneath about 2 – 3 inches. Apart from this the hull is all good apart from a couple of scratches at the bow. Boat has been used in fresh water for the last 12 years, salt water before that. The engine is a Yamaha 30 horsepower two stroke with internal oil tank so the fuel does not have to be mixed, this engine pushes the boat to a good speed.

Engine is pull start, there is no power trim or tilt. Engine was last serviced in 2015 and included a new pump impeller. The boat has only been used a couple of times since then. Battery is just for the lamp. Wheel bearings are good.

Included are two fuel tanks, outboard lock, two paddles, a telescopic boat hook and a foot pump for the tubes. Folding anchor. The boat sits on an Indespension roller trailer with winch, this trailer was adapted to extend approximately 2 metres to assist with launching. The extension has four spring locks and a drop pin to hold it in place when on the road. Trailer includes a hitch lock.

Wheels and tyres are brand new. There are two rear bars that fit in to take a light board these are not shown in the pictures but are part of the trailer. The boat is in Sutton Coldfield and viewing may be possible during the sale. It is advertised elsewhere and if sold this ad will be cancelled.
