This Hypalon Avon Rover 340 package is in superb condition and very nicely set up with a sought after low hours 25hp electric start outboard with hydrofoils which enables the rib to plane at very low rpm and double ‘Outhill’ jockey console which were fitted as standard to Rovers and are the best jockey consoles for this size rib.

This is a great size for the family as it is easy to handle, very cheap to run, a fantastic sea boat and it will fit into all garages. Very popular as sailing yacht and motor yacht tenders, Avon Hypalon ribs are capable of handling harsh environments and intense sun with damaging ultra violet rays.The Hypalon fabric and the build quality are the reasons these boats are so sought after throughout as they last so much longer than many other cheaper brands with Polyurethane tubes. They also have a long transom unlike other 3.4M ribs making them more seaworthy and drier especially from following seas and the backwash when you come off the plane. This is a great boat and an extensive package. It can easily be stored in any garage.

The beauty of this brand is that they hold their money so well, so you know your investment is safe if you ever want to change your rib in the future unlike some other boat purchases. The boat is Cat C and rated for 5 Adults + luggage and there is ample room to move around the boat safely and to load equipment and gear for the day. Definition of Category C:Category C - Inshore: Designed for voyages in coastal waters, large bays, estuaries, lakes and rivers where conditions up to, and including, wind force 6 and significant wave heights up to, and including, 2m may be experienced. The boat is in very nice all round condition with no leaks and virtually unmarked except for a very small cosmetic patch, not a tube repair, that covers an abrasion from a Davit and was professionally done in Hypalon which is difficult to see on the starboard side. It’s original with no antifoul.

Everything is in perfect working order as you would expect from a well cared for boat. This is a nice light package and if you did ever get caught out by the tide or run up on a sand bank she could be easily relaunched. OutboardThis set up has a low hours pristine 25hp two stroke electric key start engine which has just been serviced and is very powerful and reliable. The boat comes up quickly on the plane at low rpm and stays level under acceleration thanks to the lightweight outboard and the hydrofoils which makes it very comfortable to handle.This outboard is powerful and practical and ideal for pulling an inflatable or a junior on skis or wakeboard and will go all day on its 25 litre tank with general use. It pushes the boat onto the plane with ease.

It is lightweight (51kg) and a practical size. It runs perfectly with impressive acceleration and top speed, starts effortlessly on the first flick of the key and pumps plenty of water.
