Avon Rover 340 Hypalon Rib Boat With Mariner 25hp & Bramber Trailer

BoatThis is an Avon 3.4 Rib with Fibreglass hull & Hypalon Tubes. Boat has no tears or repairs and is in excellent condition that has only been used occasionally. It has been stored indoors over the winter & has been well looked after. EngineOutboard is a 2008 Mariner Marathon 25hp 2-Stroke. Just had a new impeller & a good 'once over'.

Its very reliable and a perfect fit for this Rib. It pushes the boat along very nicely whether you are on your own or if 4 or 5 people are aboard. WheelsThe Rib comes with Beachmaster wheels that were imported from New Zealand. These wheels are great as they move on a very clever cantilever system that leaves them well below the transom when in the 'Up' position, this leaves the rear of the boat clear and free to fish when out on the water. TrailerThe trailer is a Bramber manufactured 'Bunk' style trailer and in great condition.

I've given it a bit of a respray with silver paint where it was needed. The bearings have never been in the water. Jockey wheel is in good working order and the winch works perfectly. The tyres have lots of tread but are a little cracked. I have used them with no problems but that is not to everyones taste.

All in all its a nice stable, safe trailer to tow that doesn't move about when on the road. The Rib purposely does not have a console as to save weight. The slipway where I launch gets very busy in the summer and a long wait is usual, but not for me. The Rib is light enough to pop the wheels down, push off the trailer and walk down the slipway by hand. It only takes one person.

Handy if you don't like reversing down the slipway or your vehicle isn't a 4x4. It benefits me as I usually go out by myself (Kids have ditched me) as I can launch & retrieve not requiring any help. All in all this is a good reliable setup that is fun, easy to use and most importantly SAFE ! I don't want to swap for anything thanks. Cash on collection please.
