Avon Searider 4m Rib With 40hp Mariner And Trailer

Advert revised due to new work committments in early May that have just come up - First good offer near advert price secures, cash on collection please and buyer to remove on same day of payment. 4m Avon Searider with 40hp two stroke mariner outboard and trailer. Boat in good overall condition, tubes do hold air well, no long lacerations / cuts or damage, one small patch is leaking very slightly (small bubbles in soapy water during washing recently) - fore starboard, upper tube shown in 4th photo - small easy repair, I would do if I had time! Valves good, transom sound, teleflex steering working well, deck centre console secure and fitted with compass. Hull and deck have no cracks / structural damge and are in good shape.

Condition of boat / engine is per photographs and as you can see is very good for age. I have tried to give an honest overview as possible as you can see by the photo's, boat has been a hobby diving workhorse and very reliable to date. Mariner engine turns over with good compression, for safety reasons and condition of sale I strongly suggest the engine is serviced before each season (lube, plugs, clean etc). Prop good, impeller good but again recommend a change and service for safety. For honesty I should mention engine not run or serviced since last season (Sept 2016) because of lack to time to dive, but is in good condition and was reliable at sea.

Unfortunately I do not have time to get the engine serviced this year and put in the water so is left to the new buyer - low sale price reflects this. Please no lowball offers. This is a good strong boat which I used for diving over many years and would like to keep for many more, but I have just bought a new hard boat which I hope to use much later this season. Trailer comes with boat and bearings were regreased recently - strictly sold as seen, apologies but I do not have time to take anyone out for a run which I would normally do for serious buyers.
