Avon Searider 5.4m Rib

Hello and welcome to the auction of my Avon Searider 5.4m Rib I purchased the boat last year whist waiting for my other Rib to have work completed. Have had some great fun last year and it is a cracking sturdy craft, perfect for days out on the water. The boat is in good condition, bear in mind it has been a workboat and belonged to the mod in the past. The tubes hold air with no leaks, and are reinforced with extra rubbing strake on the sides and bow. They look like they have had a coat of hypalon paint at some point in it's life.

They also have a couple of handy storage bags attached. Last year it benefited from a new 50 l fuel tank and fuel/water separator and fuel lines. It has twin battery's and a selector/isolator switch located underneath the seat. The Outboard is a Mercury Optimax 90 hp, ,which is 2009 with little over 300 hrs use from new. The engine has been very well looked after and has full service history from new, with no expense spared.

This was fitted at the end of last year and has not been used since. It starts first time and I have had it running with muffs for a good 10 mins in and out of gear with no problems. The gear and throtttle cables are brand new. Fitted is a multi-function gauge which displays all relevant engine data. Fitted to the hull is a bilge pump, which needs the wiring terminals put back on the switch, they were disconnected for engine fitting and I haven't got round to putting back.

I will try to do this before any sale. There is also a 12 v lighter socket and dual usb output for charging, at the front of the console. The trailer is a snipe rollercoaster, in great condition which tows really well. The winch and rollers all work fine. The brakes have been disconnected, included is some brand new brake shoes and components.
