Avon Searider Rib 5.4 M

Avon Searider 5.4m rigid inflatable for sale as a quick and easy project. Striped the boat a few years ago to replace a rusty metal transom plate, but never got round to finishing the job off. New transom plate is made from the F1 williams team special hard plastic they use on their race cars, where my friend works and cut to size for me etc, 2 special panels, front and rear.This is a special formula, as strong as metal but doesn't rust. Can't buy retail over the counter so quite special.These boats for anyone that doesn't already know are practically bomb proof. Whether they are Military grade Hypalon, i don't know?

This one has no patches and the seems are all as they should be and holds air well.The hull is solid with no cracks and great condition.Not sure the age of this boat, but would rather put to sea in this , than some of the current generation of ribs.The engine is a Yamaha 70 hp 2 stroke outboard. Runs well and very fast and economical with this kind of boat. I have a box of parts, throttle control etc , 2 keys, all the stainless steel fixings etc. I think theres even a new fuel filter and pipes somewhere in the garage?

All it needs is a spare weekend or two to fix it all back together and you have a lovely strong Rib for leisure, fishing, skiing, or commercial purposes? Happy bidding.
