Avon Searider RIB 4m with Mercury 50 Outboard on a trailer. READY FOR THE WATER. This has been a lot of fun and a very reliable boat on the few occasions we have used it over the last year. Only selling as I need the space and I tend to go out on my jetski more often instead. The Mercury classic 50 engine is electric start and electric choke from the throtttle mounted ignition switch.It has forward and reverse. It is a perfect match for this RIB, being lightweight, powerful and well made. Recently was measured on a GPS speedo doing 42 mph, this was in perfect conditions, usually tops out around 37mph. It's very stable, great for fishing or watersports. The hypalon tubes were painted this year with expensive special paint.They have had a few patch repairs over the years but are fine and look presentable, not perfect . 3 separate air chambers, one of which loses some air after about a week. Comes with: an air pump for inflating/deflating the tubes, A pair of oars which mount neatly inside, A working VHF radio, dash mounted, antenna has some damage but is taped up and works fine. 2 fuel tanks with primer bulbs, hoses and quick release engine fittings, Fold down stainless steel hoop bars with lights (I've not used these, not sure if they work currently, although look wired up) Galvanised trailer and working light board, Hose muffs for flushing rhe engine after use, Covers for the engine and propeller. The carburettors have been refurbished with a new float in one.The drive leg was mechanically refurbished last year by the previous owner, including a new impeller. The trailer needs new mud guards as one is missing and one is damaged. They are only standard universal trailer ones and cheap, I just haven't got around to it.
