Avon Searider SR4 Commercial Spec!!

This is my much loved Avon Searider SR4. I spent a long time searching for one in this condition, the tubes have NO Patches or leaks and hold air indefinitely. The hull is solid, the deck is solid and not rotten and the transom is also solid and not rotten. The engine is a Mercury 40hp 4cylinder 2 stroke (these were the top of the range 40hp’s from Mercury (also called a Mariner Magnum) and made to deliver the smoothest power curve and idling possible) power trim tilt and electric start with Oil injection so you don’t need to pre mix 2 stroke Petrol as it mixes itself. Last year I changed the impeller, spark plugs, fuel lines, fuel filter, oil lines, fuel pump rebuild and carb rebuild kits.
I’ve fitted a new Osculati water fuel separator, twin 25ltr fuel tanks and an anchor compartment. I’ve fitted removable bungs in the flooding hull and nostrils so depending on use they can be blocked or left open. I’ve had the boat a few years and it’s been great, never let me down and I’ve done regular 50 mile trips out to the Needles off the Isle of Wight with no problems. Sitting on a galvanised indespension roller coaster trailer and under a duck back cover. The boat and trailer are always fully washed down and flushed after every use.
These RIB’s are the very best 4m boats you can get and are becoming rare in this condition. As such they are also increasing in value. Selling as I have another boat on the way, viewing is highly recommended and I’m happy to take you out on a seatrail if required once a deposit has been paid. Located in Park Gate, Fareham.
