Avon Searider SR4 Rib - Boat

Hello and welcome to this auction for my Avon Searider RIB, complete with Mariner 40hp outboard and trailer.Re-listed because of yet another bell end who thinks it's funny to bid and never get in touch. So, this time, if you have less than 10 brain cells with no feedback or you live in Mongolia don't bother bidding as I will simply remove your bid. Originally bought this boat from a Police auction, where it had been used a support boat during training exercises in the Thames. Avon Seariders are the rib of choice for the emergency services due to their incredible stability and responsive handling in the water. It's very light and easy to launch and recover on your own, and it's very fast too.

It's great for waterskiing as it gets on the plane quickly.The engine starts first time every time, and because it's been used as a work boat the engine isn't the tidiest ever, but it has been well looked after mechanically and runs beautifully. The port sponson has a slow puncture and goes soft in a day. It's been patched up a few times, but really needs doing properly.I keep meaning to get around to doing it, but with so many other jobs on the go I've not got around to it. I just tend to inflate it before we go out.As it's been used as a commercial work boat it could benefit from a tidy up, and a lick of paint here and there if you want to look the part. It's got lots of patches all over it, but most of them are airtight.

The trailer is practically new and hasn't seen the water since having brand new wheels, tyres and bearings a few weeks ago! The leisure battery isn't very old, and holds it charge forever. There's also a solar charger fitted, which keeps it topped up when not in use. The fuel tank is located under the console (which needs a new seat pad) to give more room onboard, and there's a handy storage area too for valuables and tools etc.It's got Navigation lights, and very bright LED spot lights at the bow and stern. The radio shown in the pictures will be removed before the end of the auction.
