Avon Searider SR4 Rib Boat

Selling my Avon Searider SR4 4 m rib, bought another project and love of my life dont allow for two...... had great times on it and a great rib... if you fancy playing in the waves or going skiing... it pulls a inflatable tube and a grown up on skis with ease. 2 stroke 40hp mariner pull start and pull like a dream with no problems.Fitted new spark plugs and fuel filter and cleaned carbs and fuel tank. Tubes hold air fine for the day but needs pumping before use as hot sun keeps it hard.. paint has started to come away from tubes as you will see in the photos but doesn’t effect use. Trailer is in good condition, had new bearings, l relined the rollers so it Lanches and recover like a dream.i can lanch it even pushing trailer in myself....had the trailer painted.sorted a spare wheel.reinforced the recover winch pillors. Has been used in salt water but have been flushed and washed after every use.

All in all a good seaworthy boat but showing signs of age on tubes but repainted the inside.. made up brand new centre console seat and back rest and triangle cushion for front with durable waterproof material. Replaced all old tatty plywood with diamond plated alloy and floor boards to tidy it up. I removed all steel nut and bolts and screws and replaced with stainless steel ones.Fitted a ski frame over engine with two ski eyes to keep ropes high and away from prop and prevent dragging in water.Gets up on the plane nicely with 2-4 on board because I fitted a new prop and Hydrofoil fins. New Electric bulge pump and new battery box and terminal clamps.. sorted wiring and it got a solar charger that charges battery fine.If you don't have trailer lights I will include mine and I powerful 12v pump that pumps it fine.Bad bits... Engine can do with a service for your own peace. The platoons have loads of patches because it is not a new boat but checked them all and no leaks.Other then this its a lovely boat... advertised on few sites and may remove.. asking price as £1800.00Any questions or more photos feel free to message me.
