Avon Supersport S4.00 Rib With 25hp Yamaha

A brilliant boat that has been in our family for 22 years, with original paperwork. Only being sold as the children have left home! No patches, brilliant reliable engine worth good money on its own (new kill switch just fitted) - only foible is an occasional stall at idle, which it has done since new. Trailer is home made and has been fine, with new wheel bearings about 7 years ago, but you should judge for yourself as to its roadworthness if you are planning a long tow. No light board.
New fuel tank 3 years ago. Note: the S4.00 has wooden floor panels and an inflable keel. This means she is very steady on the plane but very shallow draugth so you can land her anywhere. She can be disasembled and 'flat packed' in about 15 minutes. We have fitted her, two kayaks, a dog and four children into (and ontop) of a 110 Landrover for week happily.
With a 25 HP engine and one driver on board, you can even waterski/ donut behind her. Stable in rougher water, including ability to get out through surf (very similar to the RLNI D class inshore lifeboat also made by Avon) Will do 20+ knots on calm water with four people on board, and happily carry six off the plane at about 7 knots. An all-round excellent small boat. No reserve. Can send video in action if required.
