Boat Army Avon Searider 5.4M Rib Indoard Riesel Solas Rib With Braked

Border patrol / army AVon SEARIDER 5.4M rib INDOARD Riesel SOLAS RIBWITH braked TRAILER This is a rare find Diesel inboard rib four-cylinder Yanmar engine which is basically a Toyota land cruiser engine turbo charged restricted to 75HP. This engines are on Toyota land cruiser cars rated 160 hp this has been restricted to 75HP for safety reasons as part of the boat manufacture horsepower ratio it starts on the button and does about 26 Cruises comfortably at 2000 rpm extremely economical to run a 25 Litre tank will run all day. The trailer is like new Nicholson trailer with brakes and has hardly done any work since it was bought for the boat. I’m not sure of the exact year of manufacture but it says fully refurbished in 2007 stamped on a brass plate I will take a picture of it. One important thing to note is that the tubes are not inflatable they are made of foam so do not puncture or deflate like other ribs, so very low maintenance they are sheathed in hypalon covers which come off.
Engine and MerCruiser alpha one GEN 2 are in very good condition with only 560 hours fully serviced I have just had the trim RAM seals replaced and everything works perfect on it. New gearbox oil. This is a very expensive and rare to find boat, it looks old but it’s not and was built for the military and the border patrol agencies it has anti capsize frame with a gas cylinder on top and the handle below in case it rolls over you pull the handle and boat rolls back on the correct position. It has all the Solas equipment and radio on it I’m not very sure how to use it as I’m not quite clued up about The equipment but all is there.
