A unique opportunity to acquire a completely refurbished (ten year painstaking total keel up restoration by professional shipwright) spacious and capable RIB with new buoyancy tubes and a fully serviced and reliable engine/drive. The DS 26 is one of one of the toughest, most seaworthy Ribs ever made and whilst usually sold new for rescue/commercial operation this 'one off' well presented craft has been painstakingly rebuilt to cater for a multitude of uses including commercial operations, diving, load carrying or for leisure use. Having new 'D' section heavy-duty Hypalon buoyancy tubes attached to rigid topsides, the internal beam is significantly wider than a normal RIB, plus the GRP internal sides protect the tubes for damage. The steering console with hydraulic steering has a protective windscreen and forward seat with additional storage and is complimented by a custom leaning post for driver/navigator. The just serviced Yamaha 240hp diesel is mounted directly behind the helm position in its own custom engine box (can be converted to seating for four passengers at addition cost) and there is an under-deck drive shaft connecting the engine to a reliable Castoldi jet drive unit.There is a very large dry bow locker which is ideal for carrying kit plus an aft bathing platform and the deck is self-draining (ideal for unattended mooring). Additional bench and jockey seats can be provided at extra cost.
