Ex Rnli Inflatable Y Boat With Road Trailer And 20HP Outboard

Hi there welcome to the auction of my beloved Ex RNLI Y Boat. Its with a heavy heart im selling this as its just such a fantastic little boat!!!! (Im getting Zapcat to become a competitive racer otherwise would not sell)I used to have the D Class then got this Y boat as its easier to launch and store but based on the same design just smaller. They Y boats are very sort after as you just dont get this level of build quality in any other boat this size. And rare as RNLI no longer sells them off they now recycle them in house.

The Boat... Fantastic little boat with no expense spared we have just had the deck replaced with top quality marine ply and a thick heavy duty mattress on top. She has had 2 small repairs and holds air perfectly. The valves are military grade and look like new no leaks and all have original covers. She come with a painted of orange painted oars stowed on the sponsons. Also included is an anchor and chain rope etc.

We have just replaced the elephant trunks on the transom both are new and orange in colour. She handles surf and choppy conditions as well as her big sister the D Class Lifeboat. Just great fun The Engine... Its a mariner 20HP rainbow band shes on the older side but runs perfectly, The old 2 stroke indestructible engine. The only problem is the gear selector wont select neutral or reverse looking at it I think its just the rod slightly bent or misaligned. I haven't taken it off the boat as we have been using it each week and does not bother me.

It starts perfectly and goes ahead fine if i want to come to a stop just turn the engine off. Its had a full service this summer and a kill cord put on for safety. She is old and a bit tired but has never let us down. The prop has a few dents and dings probably could do with replacing end of season. The Trailer... Its a full road trailer with mud guards etc.
