Bayliner 175 Bowrider

2007 Bayliner 175 (more photos to come), 17’6 long, 3.0L Mercruiser inboard petrol engine, 79lt fuel tankAn excellent example of one of the best affordable sports boats you can get. This boat has never been stored in salt water and has always been washed through with fresh water after use. The pictures of the stern drive give an indication of how well it’s been looked after. In July 19 it had nearly £1700 spent ensuring key worn parts were replaced plus a full service. I have all the paperwork for this.

The boat has always been stored on the drive. The previous owner stored the boat inside which explains the good condition for its age. At the start of each season the engine oil and stern drive oil has been changed along with the fuel filter. The boat is an excellent runner and spent all of last summer around Poole Harbour/Bay either towing a wakeboard or anchored up somewhere. It has the added benefit of TKS (turn key start) which means there’s no messing around with choke.

You turn the key and it starts perfectly. This really is a reluctant sale as the kids are getting older and most weekends we’re either at a dance competition or a swimming gala so it’s just not getting enough use. Onto the issues. As the boat is 13 years old parts of the upholstery isn’t great. Some of the seams on the seats are opening up and need some tlc.

The prop has some nicks in it. I’ve never noticed any performance decrease but it’s worth mentioning. The right hand step attached to the trailer fender is cracked. Also the trailer handbrake doesn't work which isn't really needed on such a small trailer. That’s all I can think of.
