Bayliner 185 Bowrider

Here is a Bayliner 185 Bowrider speedboat for sale. It is being sold complete with trailer and tonneau covers. It has been recently serviced and is ready for the summer season with some minimal preparation. This boat spent most of her life being used for occasional freshwater water-skiing. More recently, she was moored on the South Coast of England and used for social boating and as a swimming platform.
She was lifted in Autumn of 2020 and has been serviced and stored since. She is ready for collection in Didcot, Oxfordshire to the highest bidder. There is no reserve price. The reason for sale is that the current owner (my daughter) has taken up a university course and no longer has the time or resources to run a boat. The boat, although recently serviced, must be professionally inspected before being used. The navigation lights, horn and bilge fans are in full working order. Of note is that the new electric bilge pump malfunctioned as the boat was being prepared for sale and requires attention.
Cosmetically, the boat is very clean, but further polishing of the hull and upholstery could always be beneficial following storage and the interior carpeting is beginning to show signs of wear. The antifouling is sufficient for at least a further season. The outdrive anodes have been replaced, and the it will further benefit from repainting this season. There are no lifejackets, flares, VHF or other safety equipment included in the sale. You must seek and follow the advice of the RYA with respect to the additional equipment that is required before using the boat.
The owner is no longer able to make use of this boat owing to full time education commitments and it will be sold to the highest bidder without reserve. Please be aware it is being advertised in multiple publications and may thus be withdrawn from this channel at short notice. The boat is on the trailer on my driveway in Didcot. It may be viewed by appointment at any time. Engine ‘muffs’ are available allowing the motor to be run.
