Bayliner 2252 Motor Cruiser Motor Boat With New Engine

Sorry to be so blunt but I have had my time wasted twice now with two individuals who wanted the boat, pay me a small cash deposit and then say they will need to get finance to buy it then come back a month or two later to say they cannot get the finance? Reluctantly for sale is my 1999 Bayliner 2252 Rare Hard Top Ciera Express (Mr Merlin) motor cruiser that is in immaculate condition for it's age.Just 20 hours running time, No this is not a misprint, the engine is like brand new and it was totally rebuilt at a cost of over £7,000.00, all receipts present. The alpha out drive and trim tabs were also totally overhauled at the same time and everything works as it should I have only done just 20 hours on her from the rebuild in 2014. The engine has just had a full oil service, new transom shield steering cables, full leg service including new bellows and 2 x brand new batteries fitted all done in March 2017 This boat needs nothing doing to it, it is ready for the boating season ahead.

I hold Full title papers including original bill of sale showing the VAT being paid. This boat has been cared for since day one no money has been spared on her, if anything needed doing it was done at any cost. I have owned this boat for the past 5 years and she has given me and my family some wonderful weekends and holidays around the south coast. In 2014 there was some water ingression in cylinder one, I had the engine completely taken out and rebuilt from the bottom up with all new genuine Mercruiser parts. I have only done just 20 hours since the rebuild and I am now only selling her due to a lack of use due to new business working terms. I can honestly say I would not be selling her if I had the time to use her and I will be extremely sad to see her go. This boat is ready to give many, many hours of pleasure and fun and she needs no money spending on her.

She will transport you on coastal trips in comfort and with ease. She will cruise at 25 knots all day long and you can open the throttle up to 35 knots, so plenty of power to pull the kids along on their donuts and banana boats…. She is also a fantastic fishing boat, and there are plenty of rod holders. The living accommodation is comfortable and big enough for two people to stay for extended excursions or 4 people for weekends. We are non smokers and everything on the boat smells fresh.

The full camper canvas cover I had specially made at a cost of £2,200.00 can be partially or fully removed with ease. I also have a single white canopy deck cover that can be seen in some of the pictures that you can use in the summer months if you don’t want the full camper cover on that is also included in the sale. There is also a brand new digital TV aerial included within the sale but that just needs fitting. The boat is realistically priced considering all the work that has been done on her, I have described her accurately and fairly. I have now taken her out of the water and she has just had her yearly service done.

The leg was also taken off and completely serviced. New anodes have also been fitted along with 2 x brand new batteries. She is a fantastic small cruiser starter boat or a great upgrade if you own a day boat. There is NO Trailer as I had her moored at Sovereign Harbour, but trailers can be bought relatively cheap off of classifieds board. I have also listed my boat with Bates Wharf boat brokers and the boat is now sitting on their showroom yard in Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne.
