NOTE THIS BOAT IS BEING SOLD WITH AN ENGINE FAULT THAT MAY REPAIR OR NEED REPLACEMENT, FULLY READ DETAILS BELOW BEFORE BIDDING OR ASKING QUESTIONS! 1996 Bayliner 2855 Ciera We have owned the boat for 7 years with little use.The boat has wanted for nothing and has been cared for even just having a new Canopy at £2000, anti fowl, new electrical charger unit, new propeller etc.Overall I would describe the boat as in good condition for the age and maybe only requiring a bit of cosmetic tiding to be excellent. Recent valuations have valued the boat at £24000 to £28000 if fully running, this why the start price is so low due to not having a running engine. THE INFORMATION BELOW IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY AND IS NOT A FULL OR FINAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ENGINE OR INDICATION OF WORKS REQUIREDOur marina service centre has recently had a look at the engine fault and their overview report states“Engine not running, removed plugs, cylinders 1 & 3 have water in them, borescope shows rusty cylinders” We have done our own basic home work and have been told the engine may need full rebuild or replacement. We are selling the boat as is with NO WORKING ENGINE, we do not have time for anyone to inspect the engine, the boat will be sold as is with no working engine that after completion of sale required engine works can be decided upon.
We require a deposit on completion of sale and final payment via bank transfer within 48 hours of sale. Sorry to be so blunt but the boat is priced to sell, I will not answer any questions that have already been answered on here or accept any offers less than the start price!!!
