Bayliner 3450 Avanti. This boat has had the incredibly thirsty Mercruiser 7.4 V8s removed and 2 Volvo 4 cylinder 150 HP engines fitted.She cruises at 8 to 10 knots all day at 1500 revs. This suits us, comfortable cruising and very economical. The boat is no longer a fast boat, it is an economical displacement speed boat. 1500w Inverter The engines are in fantastic condition with only 120 hours of use. They are linked to the shafts via a Borg warner V drive gearbox all silky smooth in operation and start immiediatly on the key and tick over how they should. Our plan was to take the boat round to the Thames where she would have made a perfect river boat, with great possiblaty as a live aboard. With a 12' 6'' beam it gives a fantastic living space, 6 berths. At the moment she is in the Isle Of Wight.
