Bayliner Capri 185 Gen+ 1996 40th Anniversary Edition 4.3l

Just dropped from £11,500 to £10,500. Welcome to the sale of my pride and joy for the past 10 years. This boat was purchased from a friend so I knew the history with it. The boat is the very sought after 40th Anniversary Edition Bayliner Capri that runs on the 4.3l V6 220bhp engine (brand new edelbrock 4bbl carb) rather than the 3.0 inline 4 that normally comes in the 185. The boat is immaculate for its age inside and out and is a true "turn key" model.
The boat had a brand new engine fitted 2 years ago which has only done 45 hours since new. The engine was replaced due to the old engine snapping off a starter motor bolt in the cast iron block and rather than a shobby repair I did it properly by replacing the whole block. The outdrive was also stripped, serviced and rebuilt at the same time. The engine is the 4 barrelled 220bhp model. The boat comes with trailer, props and spares and a folder full of all the receipts (£1000's) from the parts and servicing from the past 10 years.
The boat is flushed after every trip out and also has been fully winterised as per Mercruiser spec every winter. It truly is a classic that looks modern. Also includes bluetooth stereo and 6.5 inch marine speakers. The boat runs between 48 and 56mph dependant on prop size and I will include 3 different props with the boat. It is also really good on fuel at cruising speeds.
The boat has just had a fresh service inc engine and stern-drive oil and is ready to go....... buy, fill up with fuel and go. As you can see the gel coat is in brilliant condition for the boats age as i polish and wax her often, it has the odd scuff here and there and a small whole in the seat as per pics but thats is the ONLY negatives of the boat. YOU WON'T FIND ONE IN BETTER CONDITION AT THIS PRICE The boat comes with the original bayliner cover and a new fully fitted and breathable custom cover, a bowrider cover and also roof canopy for rainy days. These boats in this condition DO NOT come up for sale very often in this condition and spec. A water test is more than welcome for any genuine buyers on day of viewing.
