Bayliner Capri 1850 Special Edition with 4.3L MPI Mercruiser Engine with Alpha Gen 2 Sterndrive Manufactured in 1998 and 1st Registered and commissioned in 1999 NOTE: The engine will need a new fuel pump - we had a marine engineer looked at it and that's what he said it needed. An ideal job for somebody who is mechanically minded or knows their way around an engine. Unfortunately this is a reluctant sale as I had a stroke over a year ago and now can't get in and out of the boat let alone do the work required hence the reason why we are selling it and let somebody else enjoy this toy. An ideal bargain for those who knows what they're doing. Its a give away price for £1000 less that what it is worth with all the equipment that will go with it listed below.

A very special boat due to the fact that this boat is fitted with the newer 4.3L MPI engine with Alpha 1 Generation 2 Sterndrive The engine have 220 hp 6 cylinder which is better in fuel and is a very rare combination on a bayliner, cost stern drive and engine is £6000, only done 200 hours. Owned before me by a boat mechanic at Kings Marine and always serviced at Kings Marine Mercruiser specialist. Sterndrive have stainless steel Power-Tech propeller, cost £450 alone. The boat have a power trim and tilt stern-drive and fitted with Smart Tabs Trim Tabs to get the boat on the plane quicker and hold the turns better with adjustable steering column - which is power steering as well. The boat sits on a bunk road trailer with bearings just been greased and 3 brand new wheels and tyres fitted to the trailer.

All the cockpit seats fold down into sun loungers and goes up higher,also with additional padded sunlounger at the back. All seats in the cockpit are all been repaired and re-padded, no unsightly tears. The side of the boat is very special with all padded sides and wood trims making it the special edition bayliner. Also at a cost of £450, the swim platform has been fitted with teakdek which makes the boat very special. As a safety feature, the boat is fitted with an engine cut-out switch, so if the person driving the boat falls out, or suddenly moves out of the cockpit, the engine stops immediately to prevent irreversible accidents.

It is also fitted with depth warning buzzer, so you don't run a-ground and cause damage to the stern-drive and propeller and get stuck in the mud or gravel. The boat is in better than average condition for its age and been well-looked after, engine is always flushed with clean water and drained out (there's a tab in the engine to do this) immediately after use - only in fresh water. The boat is a dark green and white gelcoat with special chrome and gold graphics (one off design graphics). This boat has only been used in the Thames and water skiing and wakeboarding up in Milton Keynes lake. No expense has been spared on this boat, you will be hard-pushed to find another bayliner like this with all the extra's and the kit that will go with the sale.

You won't find a better boat than this with all the extras for this money - most bayliners have 3L engines, this boat is not for the faint hearted and is ready to go. First to see will buy. This boat have always been dry-stored in a barn, and never been left out open to the elements. It is stored just outside of Hemel Hempstead easy access to the M25, M1 and A41, viewing will be by appointment only at weekends.
