Bayliner Speedboat

Here we have a bayliner capri small cuddy cruiser, 20ft + leg drive been reversed into farm gate post causing damage to fiberglass rear quarter panel see pics, Been quoted £400 to repair and respray the damage.previous owner has installed a bmw straight six diesel engine, but according to a marine mechanic it has not been marinised properly. Does not now start, but turns over quite fast, may need bleeding as its a diesel, but i am not sure how to do it! Its been out to see a couple of times within the the last 5 months and was fine! If i was to be keeping the boat i would try and get the correct 4.3 mercruiser engine put back in the boat, the drive leg is a mercruiser leg and all works from the cab, tilt, turn, lift, and lower etc.Most of the upholstery is in reasonable condition and the boat cleans up well.small but comfortable cuddy with all good cushionson galvanised 2 wheel Escort trailer, boat tows perfectly on this trailer.in good working order these boats sell for upwards of £9000.being sold as a project.boat is at tn30 7jg Tenterden in Kent
