Such as a solar power run additional bilge pump with large auxiliary battery and getting it ready for use Best to have a safe land location to do the recommended repairs by a skilled boat mechanic and get a BSS Certificate before putting in water If I could personally afford to keep and service etc the boat for cruising I would do as indicated above and: Make sure all the batteries are fully charged and the automatic bilge pump is working before you leave the boat Check the boat very regularly and carefully especially the Bellows Seals and Transom Seals and Bilge Pumps and Auxiliary Batteries Install second Large Auxiliary Battery and Second AUTOMATIC Bilge Pump with trickle charge with Solar Panels before abandoning the boat in the River Make sure have Valid Insurance Remove the thermostat in Summer and Winterizing the boat on Land in Winter storage All of the above Important backup Safety measures tend to be ignored by most Boaters as they don't appreciate the importance of having backup systems eg.
Such as Installing an emergency use only Oatboard motor I had it up for one month for £10,500 on another UK site and I have now reduced it to £9,500 to speed up the sale before the Summer Boating Season starts. An old boat is similar to owning an old car when you start using it then additional money is always needed to maintain it or refurbish Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE This boat is also advertised for sale on other major UK websites online so the sale will be immediately withdrawn if successful elsewhere All the Best during the Boating Season P.S. The use of Cheap White Diesel for around 50 to 60 Pence Per Litre for propelling private pleasure craft is permitted under UK national legislation within UK waters
