Boston Whaler 250 Outrage 1981 hull with 2001 twin Mercury 150hp EFI outboard engines, very low hours, Port engine has 275 hours and Starboard 368 hours. The boat has of course aged and the Florida sun has crazed the GRP inside around the cockpit in places, the external sides were faded and looking tatty so to be cost effective rather than a total re-spray the whole outside of the boat has been vinyl wrapped down to the Anti-foul line which has given it a new shine and brought it back to life. Both engines have had new fuel filters, new spark plugs, new impellers and gear box oil changes ready for the season, the boat has 2 x 265 litre inboard fuel tanks and has just had 2 brand new inline fuel filters fitted so everything is up together. Took it out for a blast to ensure it does what it's supposed to ready for a new owner and it sprints up to 35 knots no problem, trims out to 37 then when the Bimini cover is folded to an 'A' frame we should be looking at 40 knots plus without wind deflection. I don't need to say much more about Boston Whaler as the name sells itself, it comes with an American trailer which is unfortunately unbraked so legally can only be used as a yard trailer until brakes have been added but my Range Rover tows it no problem at all and it has had brand new bearings all round and brand new tyres x 5 (spare wheel included) so would work out as a good road trailer if modified or if you had a Lorry with higher towing capacity unbraked no need to modify.
Some of the woodwork has been treated and looks good, the console cupboard doors and draws need to be done and there are other small tatty bits that need some tlc so would prefer people to come and view the boat so you can see exactly what you are getting. There are a few bilge pumps in designated areas all working well and the ability to have a live tank within one of the many hatches with a tube system running from the bilge pump with valves that redirect water to a fish tank type tube with many wholes creating oxygen in the water which is pretty cool. In the photos you will see a forward frame folded down which pops up as a forward cuddy, I do have the cover but unfortunately the mice have been at it so it can be used as a template for a new one. There is also a console cover and helm seat cover if I recall, condition not the greatest but does the job to keep the birds away from messing all over it. This is not your average every day 25ft boat, it's extremely powerful and sturdy so will be a lot of fun for the new owners.
