They improved the design and unsinkable hull, adding their own ideas and importing them into the UK for just 3 years before Boston Whaler intervened and used the courts to stop them.I’ve owned this boat for about 12 years and for 99% of that time it has been an expensive garden ornament, used only for a few weeks in summer for fishing and annoying narrow boat users due to my speeding on the Trent.I think the previous owner had used it sparingly on the river Avon, as was proved when I had the engine compression tested and the results were the same as a new one.It’s recently had the carbs rebuilt, service, new impeller, new bilge pump, new fish finder (with spare head unit), new heavy duty marine battery. New quicksilver ignition and key.This is a 40+mph boat that I’m told by my friends who ski, that it would pull two skiers. It really is not suited to pottering up and down a river and needs to be purchased by someone who can regularly take the rev happy blackmax engine to maximum revs. It likes it!.Bad pointsA few small chips and scratches in the gel coat.
