Heron A 25ft Grp Buckingham Cruiser, Canal Boat, Narrow. Moored At Stenson,derby

Relisted due to winning bidder changing mind just before the end of the auction.Heron is a 25ft Buckingham cruiser, narrow enough to travel the canals of Britain, with 6 ft 10in width. This is a reluctant sale as she has been a wonderful start to our canal holidays. We have just spent a good 2 week holiday travelling the Trent & Mersey canal, with no problems. However we have caught the bug and upgraded to a Narrowboat so we need to sell her, as we can’t keep both. 1) 25ft GRP canal cruiser, made by Buckingham in 1975.

2) Boat safety certificate to 2021. 3) BMC 1.5 inboard diesel engine, (smokes a bit like most diesel engines of its era) 4) With Enfield Z drive. 5) Canal water cooling to engine with cleanable filter 6) Large starter / leisure battery. 7) 100W solar panel to roof to top up battery. 8) Hand pump Bilge.

9) Stern steering and controls. 10) Large canopy to stern. 11) Large stern area. 12) Fixed passenger seat to stern. 13) Movable, adjustable stool for driver (some rust and duct tape, but works).

14) Gas Electrolux RM212 fridge with small freezer section below passenger seat to stern. 15) Garden hose for water tank top up. 16) Lots of storage areas to stern 17) Container for Diesel top up if required. 18) Steps down into cabin / living space, with large amount of windows letting in lots of light (with curtains provided). 19) Kitchenette to right, with 20) Vanette Gas cooker, with oven, grill & 2 hobs 21) Small round sink and drainer with 22) Tap with pump from water tank.

23) Worktop area with kitchen cupboards below. 24) Cups / plates / cutlery / pans / etc provided. 25) Thetford porta potti 365 cassette WC opposite kitchen in an enclosure with sliding door and mirror 26) Seating area to side of WC with storage below (opposite Kitchenette) and next to Kitchenette. 27) 2 pin 12V electrics. 28) Large double bed / dining area to front with plenty of storage under (the section in the middle is removable and table and leg fittings provided for dining) (cushions comfortable, but could do with recovering) 29) Kodak KTD-51004 12V DVD/ radio/ cd player attached to roof, with movable screen with remote control.

30) Mooring stakes and mallet, ropes and fenders etc included. 31) Moored at Stenson Marina by the Bubble Inn, Stenson, Derby, until October 2017, with the possibility of the mooring being transferred to the new owner (subject to agreement between the new owner and the marina, this does not form part of this classifieds board listing, new owner can also arrange own mooring, or continually cruise the canals ie no stopping in one place for over 14 days) 32) After October 2017 she will be continually cruising and will no longer have a mooring. (New owner can either arrange own mooring or continue continually cruising)
