1920's Chris Craft Cadet Triple Cockpit Project Rare Classic American Speedboat

This is a 1928 or 29 Chris Craft Cadet we were going to rebuild after she sank due to the EA loosing control of river levels.The frame is still solid, sides are in reasonable condition so I think can be saved and the bottom has been fiberglassed so needs inspecting to see if it's going to stay on or be replaced.The topside will need replacing as it was a poor replacement for the original as was the engine which was a diesel.Original steering gear and prop shaft still in place, diesel engine died when submerged. This type of boat is a real collectors item and as such parts can be found from clubs and specialists. Original plans for the boat are available from a museum in America.There are lots of internet forums and groups to get info about restoring these classics.When restored a "Good" Cadet is worth $50 000+ a "Bristol" condition can fetch up to $110 000.
