Chris Craft 23 Concept Cuddy Power Boat and 4 wheeled trailer for sale. This American Power Boat is powered by a Volvo Penta 5.8 litre engine driving through a Volvo Penta 290 "Z Drive" giving a top speed of 45MPHThe boat has stood unused for 2 years, but was serviced and winterised before being stored. The engine runs fine and she starts up and runs, with the trim and tilt mechanism also functioning.----- Before use she really ought to have a full service. The boat is in good condition, but would benefit from a full professional valet, to bring it back to it's best. The hull condition is excellent and with a little elbow grease, the gel coat will regain its full shine. Lower hull has been antifouled, (not very well) and it will need to be re-antifouled, or have the antifouling removed before it goes back in the sea, or lake. All upholstery is present, but it does show some signs of use, with a couple of small stains and marks. A good valet will remove a lot of these imperfections.Front rotating captains seats x2 are in good condition, as is the rear bench seat, but the "sunbed " section, behind the rear seat, needs a bit of attention and the hinges need to be re-attached to the frames. The Cuddy is in almost immaculate condition, with the cushions and upholstery pretty much as when she was built.Cushions are clean and look almost unused.
Underneath the section in the middle of cuddy bed, is a lift up section to access a toilet. There is also a full canopy set, as seen in photo's of the interior of the cuddy, which has removable side sections which which allow for a very versatile canopy system to keep both spray and bad weather off the captain and passengers. All are all in good condition and will give good service for several years to come. Also included is a fitted tonneau cover which is shown in a couple of the photo's, this is more used, but is functional and keeps the worst of the weather out, but it needs several new poppers to be fitted. Cabin/cuddy double doors fitted for privacy and security when the boat is unattended.Cuddy has 2 small port holes fitted on either side and a roof ventilation hatch fitted with curtain to shut out the light.Extra storage under the bunks in the cuddy/cabin.Windscreen has an opening centre section, with built in "step up" to allow access to the fore deck to moor up, or anchor up.Lots of storage under the rear bench seat for fender/ropes and personal stuff.A 4 wheeled multi rollered trailer, "Hallmark Roller Coaster 6 " is included with the sale but it is really a "yard/launch" trailer, as the brakes are not functioning and have been disconnected.
Good tyres on all 4 wheels and bearings are smooth and have done virtually no miles since they were fitted, but please realise that the trailer isn't road legal at the moment, though it may be possible to get it serviced and back on the road if you want to. If you want to purchase the boat without the trailer, I am open to the idea. (but I will not consider selling the trailer separately to the boat, until the sale of the boat is finalised.)This Chris Craft 23 concept s a quality power boat, very rare and sought after, in tip top condition, it would be over 12K, this one has several small things that need doing, so grab yourself a bargain.Tech specs for the Chris Craft Cuddy concept 23ftLength: 22′ 9″ Beam: 8′ 3″ Draft: 2′ 10″ Weight: 3900 lbs Fuel tank size: 62 gallons Water tank size: 8 gallons Hull type: Deep V Deadrise: 20 degsPlease only bid if you can complete the sale and also collect.if you want to view, please get in touch to arrange a time.Buyers please get in touch within 48 hours, my details are in the " Business seller information" at the bottom of the page and payment and collection within 7 days, unless otherwise agreed.
