Opportunity to buy a stunningly beautiful 1950's speed boat just restored and in excellent condition. Hull and all planking fully renovated in 2018 by a wooden boat specialist as can be seen from the pictures. She has been on the water twice since then (and one of those was a sea trial following the restoration). All original, including the Chris Craft engine, interior and chrome work. The boat comes with a trailer and an original canvas cover.

HullThe vessel has a timber hull of mahogany laid in wide planks in a close seamed carvel fashion with a single hard chine.The stem and quarters are fitted with stainless steel protectors which are in good order.The hull is finished in spray applied high build two-part clear varnish, with the new finish to a professional standard.The underside of the hull is clean and has been newly coated with an epoxy primer system and a white top coat with a narrow red boot line. The hull is in very good condition for a vessel of this age, having very recently benefited from a careful refurbishment and recoating. PropellerFitted with a three-bladed propeller, which was replaced in 2019. CockpitThe flush cockpit comprises two seating areas with red vinyl upholstered seats.There is glass windscreen fitted in a stainless-steel frame.

Electrical SystemThe electrical system is 6V, charged by the engine alternator.The battery is new.The wiring on board has no major corrosion noted at any of the terminal ends. EngineThe vessel is fitted with a Chris Craft Model B 4-cylinder petrol engine. Engine number 27228.The exhaust pipe has recently been renewed.The engine key type ignition and dials are fitted at the helm position, with a rev counter, oil pressure gauge and temperature gauge all fitted (original dials).
The engine has recently been professionally checked through and serviced by a qualified engineer. Bilge Pumps There is a single 6V bilge pump mounted beneath the helm seat. This is fitted with an integral automatic float switch, with a manual override switch at the helm position. The pump has recently been overhauled. Navigation Lights • Bow bi-light (working).
