V=JMIEjQk4sAE Designed and built by Don Aronow in 1972 at the Cigarette Boat Company in the USA, Dry Martini was raced extensively throughout Europe by the Italian legend Carlo Bonimi in the early 1970s culminating in two back to back world championships in 1973 and 1974 as well as the prestigious Cowes Torquay in the same year. On the 27th May 1973 she won the Balareas Trophy at an average speed in excess of 80mph the first boat to do so at a rate of such magnitude. Such was her draw, Martini Rosso used her in television adverts of the time making her a true international celebrity. https://www.youtube.com/watch? V=bkogFATA7XE Having since had several owners, in 1993 she was found languishing unloved in a warehouse by her last owner who carried out a complete cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment to turn her into more of a cruiser but still having the snarl of a thoroughbred racer.

The most recent survey was carried out by Geoff Waddington from GW Independent Marine surveyors & Consultants on 21st August 2020 which is available for inspection. The boat is currently winterised so not available to be viewed so any offers accepted can of course be subject to sea trial.
