Moontide - 2001 crownline 180cd with newly rebuilt Mercruiser 3.0 inboard Complete package with everything you need to go boating! Great for watersports, fishing, cruising etc 18ft American made and imported originally to Dorset now lying near Truro, Cornwall. Heavy layup and high quality build, gets onto plane well and surprisingly dry and sea kindly for size/shape 100l fuel tank, cleaned out last year and currently empty. (Always been run on E5 and stabiliser added over winter) Elec Bilge pump, float switch and bilge blower 5 seats, swivel and adjustable captains chair, double seat reclines into sun lounger with storage underneath, 2x aft seat removable for additional space or engine access. Interior is showing its age in places with some cracking and stains but overall not bad condition for age.
Cup holders everywhere! Switches and gauges all working, trim gauge sometimes temperamental, horn doesn’t work. Original old tape player and speakers fitted but not working. Have a vhf unit to fit in its place but haven’t got round to it, will include in the sale. Large area up forward for storage, ski locker in the deck which gladly fits skis, Ringo and other stuff.
Center window hinges open for access to the bow with non slip textured gel coat on deck Carpet replaced last year but is slightly lighter shade than original, some marks but cleans up good with a pressure washer. (Protective plastic currently on there as in the photos) Decent stainless cleats all around and a towing eye for water sports on the transom Original gel coat all around, generally very good condition (just been waxed) but some scuffs mainly on the starboard side, one notable long scratch which has been repaired but colour match is off. Nothing structural or worrisome, purely cosmetic. Below the waterline it has been anti fouled in the past but in my ownership I have kept it without. Water stained brown but would clean up fine.
Alpha gen 2 leg in perfect working order, new hydraulic pump fitted 2018, all bellows, gear oil and impeller changed last year, gimble bearing changed 2020, engine aligned and UJ inspected at the same time. Solid exhaust tube fitted instead of rubber bellow. The prop currently fitted has seen better days and is functional but it could do with a new one and paint on the leg is flaking, so needs repainting at some point. Anodes could do with changing before launch. All cosmetic stuff.
