Formula 36 Pc Motor Boat 1993 Twin 306hp Volvo Diesels Stunning Cruiser

FOR SALE, our much loved Formula 36 PC. We have owned the boat for around 18 months and in that time have spent many, many hours and money bringing it up to the 21st century. The boat has been completely wet and dry sanded with 2000grit, then machine polished and now shines like never before. New cockpit upholstery fitted 2 months ago which are in keeping with the original design and style but finished in a much more neutral colour scheme. Brand new cover fitted last month which really does finish off the look of the boat!
New synthetic teak decking on platform, New cockpit carpets, all new fittings on gantry such as tv aerial, VHF antennas, DAB Fusion aerial, LED nav light, Brand new custom made stainless raising mount for Radar. TAMD61A Engines were serviced at the start of the year and have covered around 60 hours since. Both engines have covered minimal (560 and 479) hours but always been well maintained. The boat was out the water in April and had new cutlass bearings fitted to the shafts as well as new rudder gland packing. All seacocks, with exception to the engine intakes were replaced last year with bronze fittings.
New anodes and antifouling also applied whilst it was out. Ocean LED underwater lights fitted. Latest Raymarine Axiom 9 and Quantum 2 Radar installed this year which fits nicely into the original dash, electronic upgrades also include, Fusion top range DAB stereo, 4 Fusion Speakers, new VHF linked to Axiom, 2 x wireless phone chargers built into dash. The interior of the boat is still original and in great condition for its age, we have replaced the microwave and fitted a new 32 inch smart TV. This is also connected to an inverter so can be watched any time.
Other additions include new plug sockets with USB chargers, Built in WIFI. The air conditioning system has been a god send this summer with the hot weather we've had! It does also reverse cycle and can be used as a heater in the winter as well. Bowthruster and dual stick controls make it very easy to maneuver. Always been a UK boat, was made to order by its original owner and sold from the Formula dealership in Wales.
Cost new with all the optional extras was £199k back in 1993! We have thoroughly enjoyed the boat whilst in our ownership and will be sad to see her go. We have just been away on the boat for 2 weeks holiday down to Salcombe and back without any issues! These Volvo engines really are unbeatable for reliability! Overall, its a very spacious boat with every creature comfort you could need for half the price of something similar like a Targa.
