Four Winns Sundowner 205 Cuddy Cabin 345HP V8 Excalibur Engine

This is a much loved family boat we have owned the last ten years, and formerly owned by our neighbour since nearly new. All receipts and service books provided, although nothing for the new engine as the company went bust. This is an amazingly spacious boat that will seat 8 in comfort. It originally had a 250HP Volvo V8 but a cracked head from a severe winter meant it got replaced.The new engine is a vastly superior Excalibur 345 5.7 V8 from a Ski Nautique boat, lots more power and much better fuel management. Its amazingly economical with unbelievable smooth power delivery.
This boat will top out at nearly 50 knots but it's used on the Thames and never goes above 5 knots. This was an almost new engine when it was bought, and still has low hours. The boat is 1998 but I have tried to keep it up to standard. It has original upholstery, seating, carpet and gell coat. It's obviously showing signs of wear but pretty good allround.
Its coming out the water soon for a full clean and new prop, but if you did want to try it now you'd be more than welcome. It was subject to a fairly major overall when the engine was fitted including full outdrive service with new bellows and univeral joint, new headers, new prop, new trim tabs, hull polish, bilge clean and much more. Its moored on the Thames outside our house in Teddington and has full camper covers, winter cover and summer cover. The trailer is not included but I can lend you mine to deliver it. There are a few things that don't work since the new engine was fitted like the tachometer and oil pressure guage, Thanks for looking, its a lovely boat. And I would love it to find a new home by the sea where the performance can really be appreciated!
