2004 Four Winns Sundowner 245 For sale is our Late 2004 Four Winns Sundowner 245, presented in good condition for the year & comes with its Bramber twin axle roller trailer. Purchased from friends as a pre-season project with mechanics and electrics to re-commission it was our full intention to complete and use for this season, however, due to a self-build new dwelling project, unfortunately time is a luxury we do not have and have to be realistic and reluctantly sell the boat for someone else to complete our loss and someone else gain. Being sold as an easy project boat for someone with the right experience or contacts with only the mechanics and electrics to complete & recommission. Boat Registered new on the 27th October 2004, presented in good condition for the year, usual marks as expected, Volvo Penta 5.7 Gi, Volvo Penta Outdrive with S/Steel Duo props, Trim Tabs, Electric Engine Hatch, Icom VHF, Clarion music system to cockpit and cabin, Garmin GPS 172c, Bimini top, boat cover, led lights in the cockpit & on the external stern, comes with extended bathing platform with teak style presentation, has the better social u shape seating, cockpit sink and fresh water, ski locker, front day cabin converts to bed, portaloe, rear table, ski locker, fender storage Lockers, Stern Fresh Water Shower Trailer 2008 Bramber 3000 Twin Axle Roller Trailer, presented in good condition, with addition of steps & Flush Kits, with its nylon rollers makes loading and recovery easy. History Documents Comes with comprehensive history Documents to include all the original owner’s manual, owner’s wallet, Volvo Penta engine manuals, original purchase invoice from new, Vat Paid Document, following years bill of sales, Declaration of Conformity Certificate, EU CE Certificate, numerous service history invoice’s Mechanics & Electrics The boat was fully operational in 2016 & was stored at the end of the season on its trailer, unfortunate the drain plug had not been removed & being stored on an incline & not being checked for some-time, rain water had built up and the rear engine compartment had partly flooded with fresh rain water.

As a precaution the engine was removed and the sump taken off to remove any ingress of fresh water and found to be fine with no corrosion, remove oil pump cleaned and reassembled, new gasket to sump & refitted, replaced spark plugs, new alternator, Drive belts, belt tensioner, pulley, Adapter have been replaced with new Volvo parts and re-installed. The electrics requires reconnecting to the engine & testing, the exhaust system to be connected (successful bidder may opt to replace some of the manifold parts), engine oil and & filter to be fitted (both supplied), new bilge pump has been fitted needs electrics connecting. Some small ancillary parts (screws, washers, hose clips) may be missing along with some other parts to complete. The outdrive leg will require re-fixing, comes with S/Steel duo props, purchased original Volvo Parts Rubber Bellows, Bellows Kit & bearings with intention to replace, these parts are included with the boat sale. Although presented in good condition, this is being sold as a project boat with mechanics and electrics to complete & recommission, although this is a near completion project would always recommend viewing before bidding, boat is on its trailer in secure storage (Cornwall) & ready to go.
