Glastron SE175 Bowrider.

Glastron SE 175 Bowrider / Wake boat 1997/98 Listed is my Glastron SE175 Bowrider. Great fun if you enjoy some time in the water, the boat has a 3.0 Volvo Penta engine so it is reasonable I would say of fuel usage, it was serviced last winter and winterised. While it had its service it also had a new water pump and impeller as it had developed a bit of a weep and ignition coil and harness. The Boat also had a new battery and ignition barrel around 12 months ago but hasn’t been out since. The boat is on a single axle roller trailer which is included.

The boat comes complete with wake tower, front and cabin pop on weather covers a USB stereo and speakers, anker, Garmin fish finder 140 and Motor muffs so it can be connected to the hose pipe and run up out of the water and for running clean water through the motor after use.Both boat and trailer do require some attention and TLC though. The trailer brakes require replacing as they seized on one side on me the last time out and I had to take them apart so new shoes and cables are needed, the tyres on the trailer are starting to perish and although have decent tread would really need changing before a long trip. Lights & light board included and work fine.Regarding the boat as you can see from the images there are some rips and wear on most seats, and the drivers seat runner is seized, the fuel and temp gauge are a little temperamental but if the fuel is kept topped up the fuel gauge does behave its self more. The temperature gauge is very hit and miss and I believe could be a bad earth or loose wire. The bilge blower is also a little temperamental and has been known to stop working, I believe this to be a loose wire or bad earth also.

The stereo would also benefit from a rewire and external aerial fitting as again I think this has a bad earth and its sometimes struggles to get a signal. Finally the fish finder needs a new external on / off switch (not on the fish finder its self) as my son broke this after fiddling. All in all the boat would be a great project for someone who has a bit of time to tinker ready for the the summer month ahead. I’m selling as unfortunately I just don’t have the time to tinker with it and my family seem to of lost all interest in going out on it so though it best to find It a new home where someone can get some enjoyment out of it.
