Engine Manufacturer: mercury
Here for sale is a Glastron SSV-143 by ROGER CLARK MARINE powered by a mercury 50hp trim n tilt outboard. I have owned this for a couple if years now and it has been the perfect boat and not once has it gone wrong. The owner before me kept it with the local marine firm so everything has been properly serviced and winterised as necessary for all the years he had it and I have kept it the same since I have owned it. Everything is complete and working and ready to go for the new owner. The engine runs sweet and starts on the key and having the trim n tilt function is a godsend.
All the dial's work and steering and gears are smooth. Iv always used marine quicksilver 2 stroke oil with it. Comes with its own trailer. I have just had new wheels and hubs put on, They are actually heavy duty ones which are more pricy but this is all the marine firm had and I wanted it done that day so you know its not going anywhere. Its also had a new tow hitch, as you can see in the pictures, and the winch and strap are a year old.
Where ever you are wanting to take this boat, it is fully road worthy, none of this roaring bearing nonsense. Comes with two fuel tanks with quick release connections. Makes it so easy to swap from one tank to the other, takes seconds. The Hull has marks and scratches in places where the gel has come of but this in no way affects it. I have never been to fussed so long as it was clean and functioning.
If you gave it a polish with some cut and compound it would come up like new again. The upholstery is worn and ripping on top of the seats so this could do with being redone however I have been happy with how it is so never bothered. It also has led strips inside the foot wells and around the side which are ace at night, they are wired onto a switch. All in all she is a completely original Glastron with age related marks all over but is a truly great boat. Perfect for the start of summer just launch and your away.
Its under the legal tow limit as well so anyone can tow her. I have had great fun with it but I'm now looking to upgrade to a bigger boat. Viewing recommended, everything can be seen running. All offers considered. Call matt on phone for any questionsIf you wish to purchase let me know and il remove the ad of classifieds board first.
