Glastron ssv164 classic boat with 3.0 Mercruiser inboard . I am selling this boat purely due to starting up a new business this summer and will not have time to use it. I have completed a great deal of work inc servicing of the engine oil change , new plugs , fitting of electronic ignition (no messing about adjusting points) new fuel line , I have also replaced the sterndrive impellor and replaced the gear oil in the stern drive which works perfectly in revers and forward Ihave repaired a couple of splits in the original seats and buffed the original gel coat. The prop is usable however it was my intention to replace it for a new one. The engine runs really well however I have not tried it on the water only with muffs and a hosepipe . As stated it was my intention to put the boat on the water this summer however I just will not have the time . She sits on a snipe trailer which I have replaced the axle with a recon unit . Owners manual and bill of sale from new included for history.

Description as stated . I know I will regret selling this boat but would rather somebody used it to its potential. It will turn heads wherever it is used as it is the same as the boat used in live and let die James Bond movie inc the same colour scheme. It has the original gel coat which I have buffed and holds its shine. With a few small bits such as re painting the stern drive for which I have the spray paint and re wiring of port and starboard lights etc this boat will be an investment.

Much better quality than newer boats such as Bayliner etc.The winning bidder will need to bring a lighting board and straps to fasten down onto trailer. Cash on collection or bank transfer is required but no PayPal please. Viewing welcome by arrangement prior to end of auction. On 20-Feb-18 at 21:52:38 GMT, seller added the following information: I have just checked over the boat after being winterised and found that the starter motor requires replacing . I have found several on classifieds board and cost around £25 for a used unit and around £90 for a brand new one.

They are easy enough to fit. If you look on classifieds board it is the same starter used on the Mercruiser 3.0 as it is on the Volvo 3.0. My apologies for this but have only found this issue today. Other than this the boat is as advertised.
