Glastron V-143 Jetflyte Boat Barn Find Boat & Trailer & Johnson Outboard Engine

Lordy me!! Saved from the compost and wrestled off farmer Piles is this interesting BARN FIND GEM Before you is a (just about) complete speedboat rig of 1970s vintage!! We start of with a home brew trailer (it could be manufactured) with central rollers, and an interesting jockey, working suspension under alloy mudguards - before I robbed Mr Piles I had to pump up the tyres - one stayed up, the other flopped (pesky vermin) so I had it changed. The wheel bearings are on good behavior after some fresh grease just the jobba!! The boat - A British built (Via FletcherIi believe) version of the V-143 Jetflyte is in good shape, the hull is true and straight AND HAS NO ANTIFOUL to spoil those lovely lines - still laser straight with no osmosis, hooking ,cracks or splits.Topsides took a hammering from 15 years of overfed chickens and some ham-fisted paint jobs - but thats it - it looks gross, but sounds and feels solid and looks straight - bugger its even got original shite coloured gaudy carpet (or Mrs Piles petticoat, both are pretty much the same).

The screen is complete but has had some local distress in a corner - nothing to panic about, just the rubber seal popping out, the hardware looks mostly there and there is also some wiring and a steel fuel tank. Being rated to 80hp, and too fast for Mr Piles duck hunting punt, i can see once this hull has been luvved up and given some horses it will scream down some inland waterway and leap over awe stuck groupies just like Bond in Live and let die - same era, same manufacturer, very similar boats!!
