Speedboat Glastron Carlson cvx16ss 1978 James Bond

Hi, here we have my brothers 1978 GLASTRON CARLSON CVX16ss famous for being used in the James Bond FILM Live and Let Die and also GLASTRON CARLSON used in the Bond film Moonraker.This boat will be a project for someone to finish as my brother has now decided to sell as he is not going to be able to finish due to work commitments and storage space now lost.The boat will need a good clean. And polish and this will bring the CANDY BROWN METALFLAKE paint back with a buffer.The front seats will need recovering and still have the template seat patterns to copy. Seat bases have been renewed. All trim seems to be there and any parts that are not seen in pics are available (steamer light etc).TheFloor seems ok but if you are going to restore its worth restoring the floor also.The Mercruiser Engine is 140hp ,it is only placed in the engine compartment as there are a few bits to do to complete.The lower part of the leg has been serviced and needs to be bolted on (3blade prop).Starter motor needs fitting, new timing chain cover, and two core plug covers fitting, then wiring re linked. You will need a battery.The marks on the hull are where there has been duck tape stuck to it this will come off with the right solvent cleaner.There are lots of spare parts that come with this boat these came with it when my brother purchased.

Brand new gasket set etc, nuts and bolts.The four wheel braked trailer tows well, in time the tyres will need changing in my brothers view.This is at present a non running boat but was running prior to work being done.This is an appreciating RARE CLASSIC and are only going up in value.When RESTORED £4000, these are not easy to finding the UK.A classic boat for the summer.A nice classic for someone that wants to be different.Thanks for lookingYOU ARE BIDDING TO BUY!
