The mast has been re-wired for VHF radio antenna, nasa marine speed and direction indicator. Main sail is stowed within a lazy jack arrangement which enables the main sail to stow itself neatly within the sail bag when lowering the sail. The genoa sail is furled via roller reefing which is operated from the cockpit.
The main sail is operated at the mast as is the 2 stage slab reefing system. In this respect the running rigging is not set up for single handed sailing, although the boat can be sailed single handed by just using the genoa on its own. I have owned her since last autumn and purchased her for doing sailing courses and learning generally about yacht sailing and ownership before moving onto a onto larger project. The new owner will have the benefit of taking over a well maintained boat that has been improved by its current and previous owners and is ready to sail. The asking price reflects current value for this boat having had recent new standing rigging and headsail maintenence and new VHF radio, masthead instruments and wiring, however I am flexible and will accept any reasonable offer.
The boat is currently situated in Deganwy marina in North Wales for the duration of summer and is viewable most weekends until sold. I have advertised it elsewhere and reserve the right to terminate this advert if she is sold through the other website. The buyer may be able to keep her in the marina by separate negotiation with the marina otherwise she can be sailed away or lifted out to transport at the buyers discretion. Thank you for looking and good luck.
