Hurley Silhouette Mk3 Sailboat In Lincolnshire

I have finally decided that it is time to say goodbye to “Arabella”, and I was going to do so much during the lock-down!! You are looking at: · Hurley Silhouette Mk 3 · Made about 1971, sail number 273 · 17’ 2” with bilge keels · A-frame for raising & lowering the mast, can be done single handed· Sails in good condition with a furling gib · All sheets go to the cockpit, easy to sail single handed · Old but serviceable trailer with spare wheel - Note the brakes do not work, I tow this behind a L200 pickup with no problem · Was a two berth, but she has been modified to a single with storage, could easily be change back but I thing she is more of a day-sailer that a long term cruiser. · Rubbing strake replaced last year with rubber D fender for ease of maintenance. · Antifouling is very good apart from the rudder which could do with a recoating· Compass · Depth sounder Please note: · This boat is in Boston, Lincolnshire. · This is a basic cheap boat that is almost 50 years old and that could do with some minor work to the woodwork but you could be on the water with a few hours work. · The radio, solar panel/controller and outboard were stolen during storage last year.
