Mastercraft Prostar 190 Stars And Stripes Boat Project

For sale is my American Mastercraft Stars and Stripes Prostar 190. This boat has had three owners from new, with myself being the third I bought it as a project but I have lost the use of the yard I was using as storage and workspace.The boat has never been kept in the water over night and has been dry stored every day in a dehumidified garage and hence is still in great shape. Please note the American boats had a much better build quality and were much stronger then the UK boats with a better finish to them, hence why the first owner imported this one. They are like driving an old Mercedes car and are extremely smooth with great on water manners, much better then many modern boats. The boat was LPG converted many years ago and helps make it very economical to run, £35 for a full day.Lovely bronze stars with sparkle in them so it pops in the sunlight.

As you can see from the photos everything is still with the boat and ready to go straight back in. I have the two pieces of floor to use as templates. The stringers are in good condition but there are a few areas that want a repair with some fibreglass over the top. Amazing 5.7 V8 Ford Indmar engine sounds glorious and runs well. Very powerful.

In 2015 a brand new prop, prop shaft and coupling made with custom spacer were fitted at a cost of £1000. See photos.Other works include:New LPG fuel pipes made and these are ready to be fitted also. Can be seen in photo.In 2014 two brand new hubs made for the wheels as these were showing signs of wear.New belts, points and exhaust gaskets in 2015 as part of the serviceThe original lights come with the boat .Most of the dials work from memory but possibly not the horn.One trailer buffer plate wants reattaching but is in place currently.The hitch works but also could do with a new one.Gearbox is silky smooth and had a recent service.Interior mediocre. You can see there is gaffa tape on driver seat base and the rear part of engine cover. Worth renewing at this point I think.The boat has done 1650 hours but will run forever.Outdoor cover included.

It is water tight but old and looks old. It was rarely fitted as kept indoor with the dehumidifier on.Tyres are both in good condition.Great boat and will easily pull 2 skiers with 6 people in the boat with many years of good use ahead of you.Ready to tow away.
