Maxum 1750 Bowrider

Maxum 1750 for sale. (ready to use) We have owned this boat for a number of years, mainly using it during our annual holiday in Salcombe and wakeboarding at our local ski club. The boat is late 90’s and has a Mercruiser 3.0 LX fitted with a second generation Alpha 2 leg. The boat is stored inside during the winter months and at the ski club under cover during the season. We have the boat winterized prior to putting away at the end of season.

All the gauges work on the panel. There is also an automatic bilge pump fitted. Last year the stern drive gimble bearing and bellows were replaced, along with the lower shift cable. The carb was also rebuilt at the same time. The engine starts easily, and is plenty powerful enough for skiing and towing yet is very economical.

The engine was serviced at this time also. The year before (2016) we had a new starter motor fitted. The seats and cushions are obviously used but not ripped or torn in any major way. There is radio fitted which is covered by a waterproof flap. There is a storage locker in floor for ski's and as with most bowlders, the seats fold down to become sun loungers.

The boat sits on a Hallmark Indespension Roller trailer that has recently (2016) been overhauled with a brand new cross beam axle, complete with new brakes, a complete new tow hitch assembly and winch. The brakes work perfectly and it is dream to tow. This alone cost over £1500. The negative points are the engine blower does not work and while the boat has had an easy life, for it's age, it does have some signs of use, although I have seen a lot worse on much newer boats. The hull has been anti fouled and ideally this needs doing again, not an issue for us as we never leave it in the water.

There are no clip-on covers but I will supply a heavy duty cover that keeps the boat completely water tight Reason for selling is that I have purchased a new boat. That’s about it, an honest boat that could be towed anywhere, and is ready to use. The only items required, are a trailer light board and some straps.
