Maxum 1800mx

Here for sale is my much loved maxum 1800mx power boat, we purchased this shortly before the beginning of summer and have had a great time on it when we’ve taken it out. It’s been mostly on the black water river in Essex with exception to a long weekend on the Norfolk broads. It’s served us well and has never let us down, it starts first time and has no faults whatsoever we love this boat and will be sorry to see it go but we’ve given boating a go and unfortunately it just doesn’t work for us as a family. The only thing the boat wants for is a good bit of TLC with some polish and elbow grease. The trailer is included and although isn’t 100% it serves a purpose, it’s had new wheel bearings, winch, hitch, jockey wheel and tie down straps offering trouble free transportation of your boat, the brakes have been removed due to being uneconomical to repair which I’m told is common place, when I tow the trailer I find the boat very light and no trouble braking at all.

The boat comes complete ready to go on the water, Also included are 6 new fenders, a complete Bimini cover encapsulating the entire boat with windows, this cover can be split in to sections and used as you wish, it also has a summer cover and a full winter cover that is only 3 years old and cost £522, the prop is somewhat tatty and it’s been recommended that a ‘high five ‘ is a good replacement for added torque. I searched long and hard to find a good boat and ended up travelling to wales for this particular one, the current owner had it looked after and stored with a very close friend of his who happens to be a marine engineer, needless to say the boat was always kept in good order so grab yourself a good end of season bargain ready for next year.
