Maxum 2000SCL 5.7 Efi V8 Boat

For sale is our 1998 Maxum 2000SCL 5.7 EFi V8. We have had this boat for a few years and had many happy times on her.We have just purchased a larger boat so this one now needs to be sold.It has only last month had a fully rebuilt engine fitted that still has warranty.It unfortunately was sold to us with a cracked block due to not being winterised correctly.The engine is a Mercruiser 5.7 litre digital ignition EFi which returns about 4.5 miles per gallon when at sea.This is connected to an Alpha 1 leg with a stainless steel vengeance prop. The leg is also fitted with a stainless steel drive shower which assists with keeping the leg cool when on the plane for prolonged periods.All of the gauges, nav lights, and anchor lights work as they should.The anchor light itself has a crack on the plastic.There is a Garmin navigation unit fitted and will come with the boat.As you can see on the photo it shows max speed of 46mph. As the engine has only done approx 20hours I have not yet had it at full throttle so should easily achieve above 50mph.Also included is a set of fenders for mooring along with 2 mooring ropes.Inside the cuddy there is enough room to sleep 2 comfortably but as in out case we take our 6 year old with us and sleep 3.There is enough room under the bed to store a Porta potty and more gear.We have on numerous occasions spent a full week away as there is a full camping canvas that also comes with the boat.There are a few snap studs that need replacing and the stitching has split in places on the seats.Automatic trim tabs have been fitted to assist getting on to the plane when there is more weight on board and also assists in steering at low speeds on the river.The boat comes on a galvanised trailer.It had a a boat safety certificate done 2 years ago so still has 2 years left.there are 2 fire extinguishers on board in date.all in all a very nice boat ready to use.The boat does have a name, it was not chosen by us it came with it and due to superstition we decided not to change it.
