Maxum 2000SCL Cuddy V8 5.7 Efi Mercruiser, Trailer & Camping Canvas

This auction is for my 1998 Maxum 2000SCL sports cuddy In very good condition and has been maintained regardless of cost. Quite a rare model having only seen a couple of others in the UK. The cuddy consists of a large flat layout that would be considered as a weekender. A portable toilet can be stored under the centre section of the bed along with 3 other storage compartments for gear. The cuddy is lit by 12v light and also has a VHF radio installed.
The cockpit will seat 6 adults comfortably and has a floor locker to stow the anchor. Both centre seats fold flat to create two sun loungers are at a push can be used to sleep on when the camping canvas is erected. It is powered by a freshly rebuilt 5.7 V8 Efi Mercruiser engine that has now only covered 20 hours. The outdrive leg is in fantastic condition which is a Mercruiser Alpha 1 fitted with a stainless steel vengance prop and a stainless drive shower which keeps the leg cool if on the plane for prolonged periods of time. With 2 to 3 people on board it will easily achieve 40 knots (approx 50mph) Instrumentation consists of Speedometer, rev counter, oil pressure, engine water temperature, trim gauge, fuel gauge and depth gauge, also included will be a Gamin GPS plotter.
There is a JVC head unit and speakers for on board entertainment. Other features include LED powered navigation lamp on the bow, removable anchor light that fits to the stern, ski eye to the rear, stainless cleats, walk through window giving access to the fore deck.2 current in date fire extinguishes are fitted on board. Comes with 2 x 10m mooring lines, 4 small fenders a length of hose pipe and flush muffs to be able to run on fresh water once removed from the sea. The engine was fitted this summer and has been fully rebuilt and still retains a guarantee from the company that built it. All risers and manifolds have been checked for condition and are perfect.
It comes with a tonneau cover, and a full camping canvas. Also included is a large protective cover for the whole boat when stored out of the water. The boat comes with a galvanised roller bunk trailer and has had all the brakes and bearings overhauled so it is ready to go again for another season. Only for sale as I have purchased a larger boat and its just plain greedy to have more than one boat.... There are some age related marks on the gelcoat, and rash marks from mooring in places but generally in good condition I am happy to water trial local to me on the river Trent for a fee of £50 which will be deducted from the sale price if you are the winning bidder.
