Maxum 2000SCL Speed Boat With Trailer

Here is my 1996 Maxum 2000scl. I bought her last year as a renovation project. Since then she has had new risers, elbows and bellows along with refurbishment of her instruments. She has also been re-painted below the rubbing strip (no anti-foul as dry-stored for the past year). There is not much left to do…she needs a final topcoat and cut before buffing (all paint required comes in the sale) and there are a couple of mechanical niggles that need attention in due course.

Having said that, she runs and is ready to go into the water when the weather improves. Included in the price are new docklines, fenders, new anchor/chain/rode and 2 unused Crewfit165 Sport lifejackets. There is a canvas cockpit cover and matching bimini-top (not mounted as winterised). She comes with a nice twin-axle, braked Parrymore trailer with flushable hubs which tows beautifully. I will sell this separately if necessary.

Note, this is not a new boat and, while generally tidy she has a couple of gelcoat repairs and some crazing to the topsides. There are also some scuffs and minor repairs to the cockpit upholstery consistent with her age. She is currently winterised and dry-stored in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight where she can be viewed at any time by prior arrangement. If you would like a sea trial, I’m afraid that you’ll have to pay the £80 lift-in/out fee. Reluctant sale as we have to move to The Midlands and I’ll no longer have time to get to sea!
